Settle the cheapest question first: is the signature even there?
This is the cheapest useful thing we sell, and it is where most engagements should start. Before anyone buys sensors or signs off a pilot, there is one question to settle: is the thing you want to detect actually present in a signal you can afford to measure, at a level a model can separate from the noise of your hall?
Where you already have recordings — from an end-of-line test cell, a weld monitor, a vibration route or a handheld survey instrument — the study runs on those first. No new hardware is needed for a first answer, which surprises people more often than it should.
The output is a report you can take to a budget meeting: what we found, what we could not establish, a recommendation with the reasoning attached, and, if it is a go, a costed proposal for the next step. If it is a no-go, you have spent a few days instead of a few quarters.
What is included
Signal inspection and time-frequency analysis; quick transparent baselines; a first learned model evaluated on held-out data; an assessment of sensor placement, edge hardware class, integration points and data governance. Where you already have recordings, from an end-of-line test cell, a weld monitor or a survey instrument, the study runs on those first; no new hardware is needed for a first answer. Delivered as a written report with evidence, a go / no-go recommendation and, if go, a scoped proof-of-concept proposal.
